Whether you are moving with the help of your friends or decide to spare them and deal with professionals like Internic Moving Services, it is highly recommended that you purchase a protection plan. Although affiliated movers take all necessary precautions to transport your belongings safely, the distances involved, coupled with the rigours of international transit, can result in the unintentional loss / or damage to your belongings. We therefore strongly recommend that you take a protection to be duly compensated in the event of loss or damage.
We are happy to be able to offer IMS protection plans to our customers because we understand that the goods you entrust to us are invaluable. The international or national moving industry is often faced with unpredictable situations and requires the intervention of several third parties. Thus, an unfortunate accident beyond the control of the chosen moving company can occur.

Three types of protections
Total loss only
This coverage covers loss or total destruction only of your entire shipment during transit and / or handling. The cost of the coverage is based on the declared value of your shipment at a rate of 1.65%.
Total loss and damage to furniture
This coverage covers the loss or total destruction of your shipment as well as damage to furniture during transport and / or handling. The cost of this coverage is based on the declared value of your shipment at the rate of 2.25%.
Complete protection
This coverage covers the loss or total destruction of your shipment, damage to furniture and the contents of cartons that have been packed by our company during transport and / or handling. The cost of this coverage is based on the declared value of your shipment at a rate of 2.90%
* STORAGE: Additional protection in required for goods stored in Canada for a period of 60 consecutive days or more (LTS-Long Term Storage). The cost of this coverage is based on the declared value of your shipment at a rate if 0.35% per full month.
*VEHICLE: Please note that if you have a vehicle to add with your personal effects, it will be included in the same coverage.
